Continuing my discovery or in this case re-discovery, of classic books, this weekend I ordered the 60th Anniversary (Definitive) Edition of Anne Frank – Diary of a Young Girl. Since its publication in Restored in this Definitive Edition are diary entries that were omitted from the original edition. Horalek has taken particular issue with a specific passage from the unedited "definitive edition" of Anne Frank's Diary, in which the young Holocaust victim "talks about the discovery of her own genitalia." Here is the offending passage in full, courtesy but because, if anyone has seen one of the most recent episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, telling a pre-teen or teen girl about her genitals is usually not a task assigned to dudes.
